Andrew graduated from Edinburgh University and worked in Dunfermline before moving to Ruchazie where he has worked for the past 16 years and owned the current practice since 1999. As well as owning Gilbertfield Dental Practice Andrew has been involved in opening a dental clinic in Romania providing treatment for street families. He has been there twice in the past year, most recently taking his family to help out. His particular interests are in cosmetic and childrens dentistry. Outside work Andrew enjoys cycling and running to keep fit.

Eilidh graduated from Dundee University in 2006 and had previously completed a BSc in Anatomical Sciences at the same university. She did her vocational training at Gilbertfield dental practice in 2006 and proceeded to work in the community dental service in Wishaw, then the maxillofacial department and Glasgow’s Southern General Hospital. Eilidh returned to Gilberfield dental practice in 2008. Her particular interests are oral surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Eilidh recently took up running and completed her first 10k race this year and hopes to continue with many more. She also enjoys traveling the world and scuba diving.

Alan graduated from Glasgow University in 2005. He did his vocational training at Gilbertfield Dental Practice and returned here in 2009 after stints in the maxillofacial department of Crosshouse Hospital and in Melbourne RDH in Australia. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow. His interest includes restorative dentistry and Oral surgery.
Alan is a keen rugby fan and has played for Cartha Rugby Club for the past 15 years. He also enjoys playing the guitar when he gets a spare 15 mins.

Lisa in our Dental Therapist, a qualification she gained in 2009 (RCS Edin dip Dent Therapy). Most of you will have known Lisa in her previous role of Dental Hygienist, and before this when qualified as a dental nurse in 1997. She has been with the practice for over 10 years and her latest qualification allows her to carry out fillings in adults and children and extraction of teeth in children, as well as continuing her hygiene work. This obviously lightens the work load for the dentists and allows us to offer more appointment times to suit. Lisa travels in from Fife every day where she lives with her young family.

Michelle is our Practice manager and longest serving member of the dental team. She has worked for 20 years and during this time has gained qualifications in Dental nursing, Childsmile, Dental Nurse Assessor, P.D.A, Dental Practice management. Outside work Michelle is kept busy looking after her teenage son. She also enjoys socializing, cinema and shopping.

Allison has been a dental nurse at Gilbertfield Dental Practice for 17 years and has seen the practice expand greatly in that time. Allison works part time, spending the rest of her week looking after her young son.

Tracy is our head nurse and has worked as a dental nurse for 9 years. During this time tracy has gained qualifications in Radiology, Oral Health education, child smile as well as dental nursing. She enjoys socializing, shopping and has recently completed her first skydive.

Cherie has worked as a dental nurse for 6 years and in addition to her dental nursing qualification has trained as a child smile nurse. Outside work Cherie enjoys spending time with her young family.

Aleshia is currently working as a trainee dental nurse, attending college on a weekly basis. Outside work Aleshia enjoys socialising with friends and spending time with her family.

Recently joining our practice, Laura has been a qualified dental nurse for 2 years. Outside work Laura enjoys socializing with friends and excersing in her spare time.

Gillian has recently joined our team. She has work as a dental nurse for 17 years. Outside work Gillian enjoys skiing with her son and spending time with her family and friends.
